“This is my first real Roller Derby Warrior character I’ve painted. Packed with detail & ready to whip some ass! This piece is very special to me as I remember growing up watching Roller Derby and the LA T-Birds (Thunderbirds) on an access TV channel KDOC when I was a kid. I begged my dad to take me so I could see these warriors on skates sporting cool helmets and pads, it just blew my mind!”

Thinkspace Projects returns to London, England on May 22nd for their seventh showing in the UK. This time around, they’ve partnering with their good friends at BSMT Space to present ‘ELEVATE’, a banger of a group show showcasing small-scale works from some of the best in the New Contemporary Art Movement.
‘ELEVATE’ profiles the work of 70 creatives from around the globe. This special exhibition will feature well over 100 original works of art, with many artists in the show submitting more than one work.
