These works are important ones to me, pushing these paintings to another level by harnessing the power of the personal.These paintings are all about the details and heightening the sense of beauty in the minutiae. Every area, moment, texture, and contrast is executed in the spirit of the uncompromising strength and confidence I’ve always sought to convey in my warrior queens.

For this set I’ve been working with a specific color palette. I’ve incorporated more soft and rich pastel colors, like pinks and blues set against the dramatic contrast of imperious golds – keepin’ it soft but strong.
